Alamo to Mormon Wells Campground

So I work around a lot of people and each day, I get hundreds of emails and calls. So when I get time to go Overlanding - normally I generally do not like to meet up in a group. However, a new group was having a small meet-up from Alamo Nevada, then past the test site ( area 51) to Desert National Wildlife Refuge. It is an area I have wanted to explore before - so I figured I would travel with the group this time.
It was a lot more fun than I expected.
A few take reminders for next time
a.) always bring extra water, soda, beer
b.) While I used GMRS - most people still use CB.
c.) You can never have too many guns :-) We spent over 45 minutes doing a show and tell about different guns we had
d.) Drones are always a big hit and so are animals / or dogs
We did stay an extra night. Toward the end of the trail was Mormon Wells, one of your fav places to get away, since we had a Roof Top Tent - we just pulled up a campground and spend the night.
