When I venture out alongside other enthusiasts, gear discussions are inevitable, exploring what works and what doesn't. It's important to remember that solutions may vary greatly among individuals based on their unique needs. For instance, we've never found much use for a Tent Annex, viewing it as just an additional burden in weight and setup time. However, a friend of mine finds it indispensable on every trip due to the requirements of his dog and wife, necessitating the annex's installation on the rooftop tent. The key takeaway is that we all approach camping and overlanding with different goals and needs in mind.
