Camping chairs are one of those things that you will never be happy with, they are either too expensive, too cheap, too big, too heavy or a million other reasons they are not perfect.

So time for some reviews.

ALPS  Mountaineering King Kong Chair

We found these on Amazon and they had some great reviews, we paid 43 dollars and now they are selling for 80+ dollars! I was ok paying 40 dollars but I do not think these chairs are worth 80 dollars! They are solid and acceptable chairs, nothing great about them (the beer holder in the arms is cool). 80 bucks. Humm

Pro:
Comfortable
Beer holder in armrest
Lots of Room

Cons:
Super Heavy
Very Large and Bulky
Hard to put it back in the travel bag

Front Runner - Expander Camping Chair

We recently got the Front Runner Expander Chairs, which I think are made by CGI outdoors. I am shocked at how comfortable they are for their size. I think the Front Runner chairs are almost as comfortable as the Alps chair, it is a toss-up because I don't spend hours sitting in a chair when I camp.

Pros:
OMG! light and small
I mean SUPER SMALL and SUPER LIGHT. Both of the chairs take up less room than 1/2 of one of the Alps chairs.

Fast Shipping, which I know might sound strange, with Amazon Prime, I have gotten used to getting stuff in a day or two - but when I order directly from the company sometimes it takes a few weeks. Frontrunner is great about getting me stuff super quickly.

Cons:
80 dollars a chair and no bag?
2x for 160 dollars, and still no bag?

Expander Camping Chair - by Front Runner
The Front Runner Expander Chair’s telescopic design allows this comfortable chair to fold into an extremely compact unit which is easy to store and transport.
Non-affiliated link - just trying to link to the chair

As I get more chairs that I will test soon, but I really love the front runner chairs because of the size.
